Message	Yeah I ran into the same ??"lifters" issue rebuilding a 89 built 90 NA earlier this year. They are very hard to break down, easy to destroy the sleeve holding in place. The pressure needed to free it allows for easy lifter cracking/breaking. After successfully doing a few and breaking a few, I gave up. I ended up cleaning some other jdm lifters and using them.
